SCTR welcomes its newest TL1 trainees!

The SCTR TL1 is an NIH-funded mentored research training program for pre-doctoral students in Ph.D. or dual-degree programs. The TL1 program provides early exposure to clinical and translational research methodology through experiential training opportunities and an instructive curriculum, along with many professional development opportunities. It aims to increase the number of well-trained translational researchers by stimulating interest from doctoral students in health- and disease-related disciplines who will become future research leaders.

We awarded a total of eight trainees for this year’s cohort. Five are first-year trainees and three are returning for a second-year of funding. We asked them a series of "getting to know you" questions, so be sure to click the link below to learn more about them.
