Clinical Trials Bootcamp

Overview

The Clinical Trials Bootcamp is a SCTR-led initiative to develop MUSC clinicians to be effective site Principal Investigators (PIs) for multisite clinical trials.

The bootcamp provides a high-level overview of the offices, processes, and resources that oversee, approve, and enable clinical trial programs at MUSC. The focus is on corporate/sponsor-initiated trials and the sessions frame activities related to study initiation and management.

Overall Learning Objectives:

  1. Develop an understanding of the steps involved in the initiation, approval, oversight, and conduct of clinical trials at MUSC
  2. Gain awareness of the offices that oversee, enable, and approval clinical trials at MUSC and how and when to access them
  3. Be able to describe the roles and responsibilities of study team members
