The Clinical Trials Bootcamp aims to develop clinically-focused faculty and post-docs to be effective site Principal Investigators (PIs) for multisite clinical trials.

The bootcamp provides a high-level overview of the offices, processes, and resources that oversee, approve, and enable clinical trial programs at MUSC. The focus is on corporate/sponsor-initiated trials and the sessions frame activities related to study initiation and management.

  • Recruitment & Community Engagement

  • Design of investigator-initiated research or grant proposals
  • Specific management tactics for clinical trials
  • Training on research administration office systems and research tools (eIRB, Cayuse, SPARCRequest, TriNetX)
