Purpose: The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support studies that will identify, develop, and/or test strategies for overcoming barriers to the adoption, adaptation, integration, scale-up, and sustainability of evidence-based interventions, practices, programs, tools, treatments, guidelines, and policies. Studies that promote equitable dissemination and implementation of evidence-based interventions among underrepresented communities are encouraged. Purpose: This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) seeks applications for the Implementation Science Hub/Resource Center for the Maternal Health Research Centers of Excellence initiative. This FOA runs in parallel with companion FOAs that seek applications for Research Centers of Excellence (RFA-HD-23-NNN) and an Innovation and Coordinating Hub/Resource Center (RFA-HD-23-NNN). It is expected that the Implementation Science Hub will serve as a resource to Maternal Health Research Centers of Excellence, with a particular emphasis on assisting in implementing evidence-informed programs, practices and policies to improve maternal health outcomes. The Implementation Science Hub will help bridge the evidence-to-practice gap to support the development and implementation of strategies to inform integrated efforts involving policy and practice changes to improve pregnancy, perinatal, and postpartum care and advance maternal health and maternal health equity. Studies that promote equitable dissemination and implementation of evidence-based interventions among underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged.

Purpose: This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) supports efforts to disseminate resources and to integrate them into neuroscience research practice. Projects should be highly relevant to specific goals of the BRAIN Initiative, goals that are described in the planning document "BRAIN 2025: A Scientific Vision." They should engage in one or more of the following activities: distribution of tools and reagents; user training on the usage of new technologies or techniques; providing access to existing technology platforms and specialized facilities; minor improvements to increase the scale/efficiency of resource production and delivery; minor adaptations to meet the needs of a user community. Applications strictly focused on technology or software development, rather than dissemination of an existing resource, are not responsive to this FOA. Refinements to microscopes or tools necessary to customize them to the experimental needs of the end users is allowed. Projects should address the compelling needs of neuroscience researchers working toward the goals of the BRAIN 2025 report that are otherwise unavailable or impractical in their current form.

Purpose: This FOA invites applications to participate in a research program cooperative agreement to support the Prevention and Treatment through a Comprehensive Care Continuum for HIV-affected Adolescents in Resource Constrained Settings Implementation Science Network (PATC3H-IN). The Network will expand successes achieved by PATC3H to new geographic settings with limited implementation science (IS) research capacity and/or risk populations who are poorly represented in international adolescent HIV research (e.g. sexual and gender minorities; commercial sex workers; drug users) and stimulate much needed IS research in a neglected area of public health significance: prevention of new HIV infections among adolescents at risk and the identification of, and linkage and retention to care of and long-term viral suppression among youth living with HIV in low-to-middle income countries (LMICs). These settings must have an HIV epidemic density defined by UNAIDS estimates as either a country 1) in which at least 200,000 people are living with HIV and the number has not decreased by more than 5% over the last 2 consecutive years of available data or 2) has an HIV incidence among youth ages 10 to 24 years of 0.01% or more.

Purpose: The purpose of the Global Implementation Science for Equitable Cancer Control (GlobalISE Cancer Control) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to build implementation science centers in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This initiative will support implementation science research capacity-building activities, including research projects that identify, develop, and test innovative theory-based strategies for overcoming barriers to the adoption, adaptation, integration, scale-up, and sustainability of evidence-based cancer control interventions (e.g., programs, tools, policies, and guidelines) in LMICs. NCI will support several U54 Specialized Centers with transdisciplinary research teams meaningfully collaborating with key stakeholders (e.g., health systems, ministries of health, clinicians, and communities) that must include at least one PI or MPI from an LMIC-based institution. This initiative aims to foster LMIC-based implementation science programs to inform implementation of cancer control efforts in LMICs.

NCCIH held an expert panel meeting on implementation and de-implementation methodologies for complementary health approach on December 10, 2019. The panel consisted of a combination of implementation science and complementary health intervention experts.
