Drs. McRae-Clark & Reichel will lead a general workshop open to all faculty, staff, students, and postdocs discussing strategies and best practices for incorporating sex as a biological variable into both basic and clinically-focused research grants.
Workshop Leaders
- Aimee McRae-Clark, Pharm.D., is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Neuroscience, with over 20 years of clinical research grant writing and submission experience focused on sex and gender. She is the contact PI of the MUSC SCORE on Sex Differences (U54DA016511).
- Carmela Reichel, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neuroscience with over 15 years of basic science research grant writing and submission experience. She is Co-PI of the MUSC SCORE basic science component.
