Community Engaged Scholars Program
The Community Engaged Scholars Program (CES-P) is an education and training initiative to support and enhance academic and community partners who have an interest in community-based participatory research (CBPR). Following the 15-week didactic training, the academic and community partners are awarded pilot funds ($5,000 to $10,000) to complete a CBPR study. Funding for the CES program is provided by the South Carolina Clinical and Translational Research Institute (SCTR).
