Isaac Chery, MBA, MPM, CRA
As the Sponsor Invoicing Manager for the Office of Clinical Research, Isaac is tasked with partnering with MUSC research teams and Research Administration on developing best practices for industry sponsored research invoicing and award management. Isaac brings to MUSC over 13 years of extensive Basic science, Clinical Trials grants management, and research administration experience gained during his time with Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital, and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Isaac has a BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, an MBA from Point Park University, Pittsburgh, PA, and a Master of Public Management (MPM) from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA.

Michelle Forster, MBA
Michelle Forster is the Lead Clinical Trials Grants Administrator in the Department of Medicine. She manages both pre-award and post-award activities for a large variety of federal, corporate and foundation clinical trials, including multi-centers.This experience has given her a wide range of knowledge in research administration. Prior to working in the Department of Medicine, Michelle also served as a Grants Coordinator in Radiology and as an Administrative Coordinator in Pharmacology. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Citadel. Michelle loves the summer because she can go on long runs and also go out on the boat.
