How Are Applications Reviewed?

Representatives from the Office of Research Development will review applications for eligibility, completion, date of intended proposal submission, and development of proposal concept. Formal acceptance will be contingent upon email confirmation from a workshop mentor.

Estimated Time for Participation

For the Fall 2017 PEERS Workshop: Specific Aims, the total time devoted to in-person group sessions and one-on-one meetings will be 6 hours over a 9-week period. This includes participation in the informational session “Nail Those Aims!” – NIH Specific Aims Best Writing Practices. Additional time for writing and revision of working Specific Aims should be anticipated, but will vary for each individual.

Follow Up ORD Support

Individuals who attend the entirety of the PEERS workshop (the 2 group sessions) and all complete assignments will have the opportunity for monthly proposal feedback from the office on a chosen grant document. Further details on this will be shared upon acceptance to the workshop.
