FY 21 Salary Cap Guidance for Proposal Preparation

AHRQ recently issued guidance on salary limitation for grants and cooperative agreements via Notice (NOT-HS-21-007). The updated salary cap is applicable to all Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies. Effective January 3, 2021, the Executive Level II salary cap increased to $199,300. 

ORSP’s Assistant Director, David Azbill indicated that when preparing all future (including the February 5 deadline) NIH grant proposals to use the new salary cap maximum. ORSP has updated both the ORSP Proposal Preparation page and Cayuse424 data to reflect the new HHS Salary Cap level.
