Monday, April 29th - We Are Changing What's Possible

Guided tour of many of the 873 pieces of original art housed in the Ashley River Tower with an opportunity to engage in discussion of observed elements and themes in the artwork. (30 min duration) Location: ART Lobby

Macaulay Museum of Dental History

2:00pm - 4:00pm - Macaulay Museum of Dental History

Names for Dr. Neill W. Macaulay, an avid historian of dental practice, the museum houses an impressive collection of dental memorabilia, including historical tools and instruments, a 19th Century dental-office display, a collection of dental chairs and a traveling dentist's chest from the Civil War era. The MUSC doctor will see you now, from anywhere! MUSC's home to one of two National Telehealth Centers of Excellence, providing more than 20,000 televisits each year. Come see how MUSC is helping to expand healthcare access across the state. (30 min duration) Location: Main Hospital, Rm 268

Antique Pharmacy Bottles

Stop by to view a turn of the century workstation and prescriptions, photographs, and early reference texts, as well as, devices used by pharmacists prior to the era of manufactured pharmaceuticals including: pill machines, suppository molds, mortars, pestles made of iron, wood, ceramics, and glass, and a variety of antique balances. 5:00pm - Art of Self Care
