Cayuse will monitor all changes.

Will Cayuse support all funding agencies?

Currently Cayuse supports NIH, CDC, NSF, DOD and AHRQ.

Can I continue to block popups from other sites and allow popups to be accepted from Cayuse?

Yes. On the browser menu bar select Tools, Options then click on the Content tab. Click on Allowed Sites and enter Cayuse URL (https://cayuse.musc.edu:8443/V8).

No.

Is it possible to create duplicate profiles?

Yes.

I got a message that says, "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete". Should I click on Stop script or Continue?

You should generally click Continue, but if you get this message frequently, you should increase the timeout to 60 seconds. To do this:
  1. Type about:config into teh address bar
  2. Type dom.max_script_run_time into the filter
  3. Double-click on the listed entry
  4. Change the value to 60.

Can two or more people work on an application simultaneously?

No. The system only allows one user to work on the proposal at a time. However, others may view the proposal simultaneously.

Is my proposal automatically saved as I create it?

Yes. Your proposal is saved every time you click in and out of a page, whenever you change functions (tabs) and when you close the proposal.

Where are the templates for the Research Plan?

Cayuse has replaced the templates with a new feature called the Exploder.

Why can't I see the person that I want to add to my grant on the personnel list?

Either an account has not been created for that person or you do not have access to that person's account. To have an account created send an email with your name and email address to orsp@musc.edu . In the subject line of the email mark "Request for Cayuse Account". To obtain access to a person's account, contact the account creator to allow you access.
