Illumina Genone Analyzer will be demonstrated at MUSC on Oct. 20th

 

Dr. Visu Palanisamy, Assistant Professor of Craniofacial Biology, and Dr. Tilman Heise, Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, along with the RNA Club, will host a seminar by Dr. Gary Schroth on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the 2 West Amphitheater in the Main Hospital (Room H-282).  The title of the seminar is “Enabling Genome Biology with the Illumina Genome Bioanalyzer.” Dr. Schroth is Senior Director of the Gene Expression Applications Group at Illumina Corporation.

The seminar format will be as follows:

10:30 – 11:00 a.m. Genome Analyzer Technical Overview
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Sequencing Applications
