The Hollings Cancer Center has issued its annual call for predoctoral, postdoctoral and recently appointed junior faculty (within the last two years) to submit cancer research abstracts for the 9th Annual Scientific Research Retreat. Abstracts are due Monday, October 19th.

The HCC Retreat will occur on Friday, November 20th at the Omar Shrine Convention Center in Mount Pleasant. The featured speaker will be Cory Abate-Shen, PhD, Director of Research, Department of Urology, Associate Director, Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Ten individuals who submit abstracts will also be invited to make oral presentations at the HCC Retreat.  Others will have poster presentations.
