The Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) is excited to host a thematic research conference March 12-13 in the MUSC’s HCC building. Participants (faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students) are encouraged to submit scientific abstracts related to Cancer Disparities, Cancer Chemoprevention, and Cancer Epidemiology, Prevention and Control.  Selected abstracts will be presented in poster format and collated in a booklet to be distributed at the conference.  Priority will be given to disparities-related research. The deadline for abstract submission is February 20, 2009.

The South Carolina Alliance for Cancer Chemoprevention will co-sponsor the 2009 Spring Symposium. Interested participants can register at http://hcc.musc.edu/education/springsym2009.htm.
