ORD Alerts send targeted grant announcements to subscriber e-mail boxes

The Office of Research Development (ORD) offers a broad array of e-mail listservs for disseminating research news and funding opportunities in thematic and targeted areas of interest. Members of the MUSC community can subscribe and unsubscribe to as many lists as they wish on the ORD Alerts web page at http://research.musc.edu/ordalerts_lists.html.

Generally speaking, only MUSC email addresses [username@musc.edu] will be retained in ORD Alerts subscriber lists. Anyone who wishes to use a non-MUSC mail server should contact Peggy Schachte, Director, Office of Research Development, at schachte@musc.edu.

In addition, if you do not see a list that relates to a special area of interest, or if you wish to make any other suggestions or comments, please send an email message to schachte@musc.edu.

ORD Alerts are sent on a sporadic not a scheduled basis, as time is available to read and forward the information. Funding alerts on a scheduled basis—weekly every Monday morning—are available by signing up for COS Funding Alerts at www.cos.com. The COS Funding Opportunities database can also be queried and search on an ad hoc basis at any time. COS is available at no charge to members of the MUSC community. ORD staff are available to help tweak your COS search terms and make the service work efficiently for you.
