NIH training sessions for electronic grant applications will be webcast
at MUSC
NIH will hold two training sessions for applicants to explain its new
electronic grant application process. The sessions will be held on Jan.
11, 2006, and will provide an overview of NIH's transition plans, the
submission process and the new forms.
Both training sessions will be held in Natcher Auditorium on the NIH
campus; the first session will be held from 8:30 am-12:00 pm, and the
second from 12:30-4:00 pm. The sessions will be webcast by NIH's
streaming video service. The Office of Research and Sponsored Program
has arranged for members of the MUSC research community to participate
in the webcast. Anyone can view the webcast but, due to the limited
number of concurrent viewers, NIH has suggested viewing in groups.
Both
sessions will be broadcast in room 202 of the Basic Science Building.
Registration and Information on the sessions can be found at the NIH web
site http://era.nih.gov/training/ElectronicSubmission
The online submission requirements are being phased in gradually; by May
2007 all grant applications must be submitted electronically.
