Non-Windows users can now access Grants.gov via Citrix server

On December 20 the folks at Grants.gov announced that the Citrix server is available for non-Windows users. This is a breakthrough of sorts.

All non-Windows users can now download and complete the PureEdge forms, and submit them through the free Citrix server.  Prior to December 20, non-Windows users could search and download grant opportunity application packages on Grants.gov, but could not complete the forms for electronic submission via Grants.gov.

To start using the new Citrix feature for application completion, users must download Citrix (http://citrix.com/English/SS/downloads/downloads.asp?dID=2755) and the PureEdge Client (http://grants.gov/assets/PEClientCitrix.ica).

Mac and other non-Windows users (Linux, Unix, GMU, etc.) may find support and installation tips at http://www.grants.gov/GrantsGov_UST_Grantee/!SSL!/WebHelp/MacSupportforPureEdge.pdf  and http://www.grants.gov/assets/pureedgemacsupport.pdf.

Step-by-step instructions for submission are located on the Grants.gov web site: http://grants.gov/assets/PEClientCitrix.doc. For further technical support, please contact the Grants.gov customer support center at support@grants.gov  or visit Grants.gov: http://grants.gov/MacSupport
