DoE EPSCoR program offers opportunities to collaborate with national labs

U.S. Department of Energy EPSCoR National Laboratory Partnerships to encourage the formation of partnerships between academic researchers in EPSCoR states and researchers at DOE National Laboratories. EPSCoR is an acronym for Experimental Programs to Stimulate Competitive Research, which are supported by major federal grantmakers in states that are historically less successful in obtaining competitive government funding.

DoE EPSCoR Awards are expected to range up to a maximum of $150K annually for up to three years. Preapplications are submitted directly to the DOE and are due in the U.S. DOE EPSCoR office by April 12, 2005. Pre-applications require a Letter of Endorsement from the South Carolina State EPSCoR Office; they may be obtained upon request to little@scra.org. Requests for Letters of Endorsement must be received by close of business on Friday, April 1, 2005.
