Head & Neck Research Group asks for abstracts by September 16th
MUSC’s Head & Neck Research Group has a current Call for Abstracts with a due date of September 16th by 5 PM. For a copy of the instructions and abstract submission form, please contact Ann Durgun at durguna@musc.edu.
The proposed presentation must be relevant to research regarding head and neck or oral cancers or other head and neck disorders and diseases. All abstracts will be printed in the program booklet, and four will be selected for presentation as part of the 20th annual F. Johnson Putney Lectureship in Head and Neck Research on Saturday, October 22nd in the Storm Eye Institute Auditorium.
Cash prizes will be given to the first and second place presentations—$500 for 1st and $250 for 2nd place. In addition, abstract presenters will be invited to attend the Reception at the Vendue Inn on Friday evening, October 21 at 7 PM, and join a sailing excursion on the Schooner Pride in Charleston Harbor on Saturday afternoon, October at 2 PM.
