MUSC faculty represent a wealth of grantsmanship expertise

Collectively, MUSC faculty represent a wealth of grantsmanship expertise, which would benefit junior faculty when they prepare and subit research proposal. However, this valuable information is scattered across campus, and there is presently no mechanism to direct new investigators to these knowledgeable people.

Thus, The Office of Research Development (ORD) has initiated a beta version of a Peer Review Database, available at http://128.23.40.105:153/. When complete, this database will house searchable information about MUSC faculty who have served or currently serve on proposal review panels and study sections for NIH and other granting agencies. At this time, the database has
approximately 70 individual entries. Because the ORD’s goal is to have a comprehensive and useful database, we welcome suggestions, additions, deletions, or criticisms for this database.

Please direct inquiries, suggestions, criticisms to research@musc.edu
