Women in Medicine program seeks poster presentations
The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) has issued a call for abstracts and posters to be presented at the Women in Medicine reception on Oct. 29, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the AAMC. The 2006 reception theme, "Celebrating 30 years of Partnering with Medicals Schools," marks the 30th anniversary of the AAMC's Women in Medicine Office. Women liaison officers, faculty affairs professionals, diversity program directors, and other leaders in academic medicine may submit posters and abstracts in three areas: women in medicine programs; innovative diversity programs; and the influence of gender schemas in academic medicine.
