COS enhances Funding Alerts and Funding Opportunities

Community of Science (COS) is an extensive web-based resource for academic researchers. The COS Funding Opportunities database contains more than 22,000 records representing nearly 400,000 opportunities in all fields, world-wide. A sophisticated search interface helps individuals target their queries to relevant content, career stage, and performance site. The COS Funding Alerts service allows individuals to save COS Funding Opportunity searches as alert searches and save up to 20 separate alert searches. Every week in the wee hours of Monday morning COS Funding Alerts subscribers received weekly emails for specified searches, containing changes and news of the previous week. Other recent enhancements include easier management of Funding Alert preferences and tracking of funding opportunities from the individual's COS Workbench. All MUSC faculty and trainees have extensive access to COS services via a site subscription provided by the Office of Research Development.
