Nominations for Wiley Prize in Biomedical Sciences are due July 31

Created by global publisher John Wiley & Sons, the Wiley Prize in Biomedical Sciences is intended to recognize contributions that have opened new opened new fields of research or advanced novel concepts or their applications in a particular biomedical discipline. The Wiley Foundation has been established as the endowing body to support the prize. The award will consist of a $25,000 grant and a lecture by the recipient at the Rockefeller University.

The award may recognize a specific contribution or a series of contributions that demonstrate the nominee's significant leadership in the development of research concepts or their clinical application. Wiley invites and encourages the nomination of exceptional PhD and MD scientists whose research has set the standard for excellence. More than one nomination can be made from the same organization. International nominations will also be accepted, and the number of years in a position is not relevant to the nomination.
