Association offers resource for international education opportunities

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research, and Global Health Education Consortium (GHEC, formerly the International Health Medical Education Consortium) have created an online resource on international medical education activities at allopathic medical schools within the U.S. and Canada. This electronic resource includes readily available information on the degree and nature of international opportunities for medical students, residents and faculty. The site includes a list of medical schools offering international opportunities, how these programs are funded, and the geographical regions where they occur. Individuals who are interested in additional information are encouraged to contact the medical schools directly. The resource is available at http://www.faimer.org/resources/opportunities/index.html.
