MUSC GCRC offers course for research coordinators

The Research Coordinator Development Course was developed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) in collaboration with the College of Nursing to provide basic training to new MUSC research coordinators. The General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) inherited the course in July 2007 and will continue to fulfill the requirements set forth by the IRB in training new MUSC research coordinators.

The course is currently offered 4 times a year, subject to change based on demand. The next course offering is planned for May 5 – 19, as follows:

Monday May 5, 8:30am-12:30pm
Wednesday May 7, 8:30am-12:30pm
Monday May 12, 8:30am- 2:30pm
Wednesday May 14, 8:30am-12:30pm
Monday May 19, 8:30am-12:30pm

Another series of classes is tentatively scheduled for August 4 – 15.
