Letters of intent for FY2009 Department of Defense EPSCoR Program are due April 28 The South Carolina EPSCoR/IDeA Office has issued a call for pre-proposals for the statewide package to be submitted to the FY2009 Department of Defense EPSCoR (DEPSCoR) Program. The SC EPSCoR/IDeA web site has the details posted at http://www.scepscoridea.org/EPSCoR/DEPSCoR.html. Letters of intent must be submitted on-line by April 28; pre-proposals are due May 30. The Department of Defense Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DEPSCoR) is designed to award grants that promote competitive research in defense-specific research areas of interest. The competitive process is administered by the Army Research Office (ARO), the Office of Naval Research (ONR), and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR). Interested investigators are encouraged to consider this opportunity, keeping in mind the following historical observations and program requirements:
