Pharmacogenomics
policy released by FDA
On March 22, the Food and Drug Administration released guidelines for
pharmaceutical companies on collecting and including genetic information
in drug applications. The FDA says the guidelines should speed the
development of 'personalized medicine,' by which specific
drugs and dosages can be targeted to individuals with a particular
