Upgraded MedEdPORTAL now offers tracking service The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) has added several major enhancements to MedEdPORTAL, based on user suggestions. Authors whose work is published in MedEdPORTAL may now generate usage reports that provide a list of the users who have viewed their published resource. This new feature is designed to provide authors with valuable information to help them illustrate the community-wide impact of their resource, which can be included in promotion and tenure documentation. The AAMC provides MedEdPORTAL as a free service to give medical educators a venue in which to publish and locate high quality teaching resources that cover the continuum of medical education (undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education). To locate teaching resources, scientists may browse by selected topics, search by keywords, or execute a detailed search using Power Search.
