Research integrity abstracts sought for national conference The federal Office of Research Integrity is seeking abstracts for papers, poster sessions, panel discussions, and working groups for the 2006 Research Conference on Research Integrity. The conference provides a forum for scholars to discuss crucial research problems, explore different research methods, and share research results, with the ultimate goal of furthering understanding about how to foster integrity and deter misconduct in research. The meeting will be held Dec. 1-3, at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa in Tampa, Florida. Abstracts for conference submissions are due no later than April 28. Preference will be given to studies that open new research areas, use new research methods, or provide new insights into recognized research problems. Proposals for theoretical or methodological presentations, historical analyses, and interpretive literature reviews will also be considered.
