AAMC
seeks submissions for annual Research in Medical Education Conference
The AAMC is inviting paper submissions to be presented at the 43rd Annual
Conference on Research in Medical Education (RIME), held in conjunction
with the 115th Annual Meeting of the AAMC, November 5-10, 2004 in Boston,
MA. The RIME Committee of the AAMC Group on Educational Affairs will
sponsor the conference, in order to provide a forum for the presentation
and discussion of research concerning all aspects of medical education.
Four types of proposals are invited: 1) research papers – to promote
dissemination and discussion of completed research in medical education;
2) review papers – to synthesize existing research and provide
direction for future research and practice in medical education; 3)
symposia – to explore contrasting views on current research issues
in medical education; and 4) abstracts – to report results of
exploratory and pilot studies in medical education. Submissions must
