The NIA has released its FY2001-2005 Strategic Plan. This is especially important to researchers involved with aging issues. This report provides detailed information on the future direction of age-related research. Priorities of the NIA are also addressed, including basic biology of aging, geriatrics, and social and behavioral functioning.
