Grants.gov for Mac OS X

Here is your solution as a non-Windows users to access the Grants.gov PureEdge forms, and submit your grant through the free Citrix server. PureEdge viewer is required to complete grant application packages.

Steps to Follow

1. Download the Citrix client for Mac OS X to start uploading to grants.gov. Once you have downloaded these files to your computer you will not need to do this step again. Download and install the Citrix ICA Client first, then download Citrix ICA File to the desktop. (if you just download to open it will open in a browser window and you need it as a file.)

Citrix ICA Client . Requires Mac OS X 10.1 or higher.
Right click or hold down the mouse to download files to the desktop.

If you are having troubles please contact: Karen Harper or 792-0871

2.   PureEdge ClientCitrix File (download this is the file that connects you to NIH via IPaddress)
Right click to d
ownload to the PEClientCitrix.ica file to the desktop

3. Locate your grant application package by going to the Grants.gov application package that is specific to the program to which you are applying. Each grant opportunity has a specific application package. Save the application package on your desktop (right click save to desktop, if you double click it will save as a .pdf file and you don't want that). The file name must end in .xfd or the Citrix solution outlined here will not work correctly.

Note:
you may also need to shorten the name. Long names, or special characters such as '-' in the file name, can cause problems with this Citrix solution.

4. Once you have your grant application package on the desktop, select the PEClientCitrix.ica file to begin.
